feature films
After a great experience in episodic TV I continued to round out my experience at the independent feature company First Look Studios. As post production supervisor my department released four feature films a month including the 2008 hits War, Inc., starring John Cusack,Transsiberian, starring Woody Harrelson, Emily Mortimer and Sir Ben Kingsley, Sukiyaki Western Django, a new vision of the spaghetti western, and Paris Je T'aime, a convocation of the world's top directors -- Coen brothers, Alexander Payne, Gus Van Sant -- and top stars -- Natalie Portman, Elijah Wood, and Juliette Binoche.

collaboration is key
I harnessed my knowledge to great interpersonal skills and collaborated with leading filmmakers and production companies. Very much an exercise of scale I nurtured relationships with an international network of vendors and producers alike to meet a demanding release schedule. As an added bonus I produced and (in several cases) edited theatical trailers.

episodic television
I worked in Nickelodeon's live action post production unit for their biggest hit shows including All That, Drake & Josh, Zoey101, and the incredibly popular iCarly - the first show ever to include kid generated content. As the Post Production Supervisor and also the acting Music Supervisor I played both significant logistic and creative roles in the making of these shows.

take nothing for granted - every episode is a pilot episode
These shows didn't abide by any normal standard of quality. They were complicated, intricate, graphics and audio intensive shows and they required a much higher level of production value. Incredible teamwork and effort was applied to shine and polish each scene, music cue, and graphic and the resulting viewership has been incredibly strong.

two (or three) shows at a time
Supervising post production for any one of these shows would be difficult enough but I posted two and as many as three concurrent series simultaneously. As tough as it was to juggle different formats (Zoey101 was a single-cam series while iCarly and Drake & Josh were multi-cam series) as well as editors and creative approaches to each show, I excelled at the challenge.
